Inspire can take up to 100 children at any one time. We require a minimum of eight paying visitors per party. One free supervising adult is admitted for every four paying party guests.
Disabled people of all ages are welcome, and extra helpers for special needs groups can be accommodated.
Allow an hour to explore the exhibits, and add 30 minutes if you book a show or workshop, and don't forget to allow time for the party food id you are bringin it.
Science Shows are available for birthday parties. Choose from:

We are also able to offer workshops as part of your package. Lasting up to an hour, they give each child the opportunity to make something they can take home with them. Choose from...
Balloon Buggies
Build a balloon-powered buggy to keep. Can you adapt the basic design to reduce resistance and friction? Who will win the race?
Mask Making
Decorate a maks with a wide variety of collage materials.
Party Hats
Make and decorate a crown.
Sun Catchers
Make eye-catching decorations for windows.
Tile Making
Make and decorate a medieval-style tile.
We can supply party invitations at a cost of £2.00 for 10 and party bags at either £2.00 or £4.00 each. The party bags are particularly good value for money, as we fill them with items from our fantastic gift shop.
Although we are unable to provide food, we can supply you with tables and chairs on our balcony area, and you are welcome to bring your own food (please remember table cloths, if desired, and a knife and matches for the cake!).
We also have a small cafe serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and a selection of snacks and sweets.
